Sufism is a spiritual path (Tarikat) that is mainly practiced in the Middle East and North Africa. This film is a visual poem about the journey towards enlightenment of a group of Turkish Sufis. Called by a mystic dream, Derya finds herself among souls steeped in the Islamic Sufi tradition. They join in hypnotic movements and stirring rhythms, dissolving into an ocean of silence.
